If your vehicle has an automatic transmission, it requires transmission fluid to operate properly. That fluid, also known as ATF, prevents the transmission from running too hot, especially when you’re towing a trailer, climbing steep hills, and operating the vehicle under other severe driving conditions.

Like any other automotive fluid, transmission fluid will break down and become less effective as it ages. However, unlike engine oil, transmission fluid must be flushed from your vehicle using a specially designed machine. Have us check your fluid every 30,000 miles.
